GRAPHIC DESIGN for small businesses, nonprofits. community organizations, and creatives.

Just because graphic design has “always been done that way”
doesn’t mean it actually works.

I’m Shelby,
a graphic designer based in Portland, Oregon.

I’m also a fiber artist, musician, printmaker, and an all around crafty little weirdo who loves to push the limits in creative ways. I’ve spent the last decade working for and with community organizations, nonprofits, music promoters, venues, and other small businesses.
Graphic Design Services

Whether it’s for a one-time event, or a whole brand identity, I excel in creating off-the-wall & unique visuals that draw engagement, increase visibility, and make your organization stand out without breaking the budget.

Who I Design For

I prioritize working with nonprofit and community organizations whose missions include empowering, supporting, and uplifting oppressed and minoritized communities (such as the Black, Immigrant, Indigenous, Latine, Queer, and Trans* communities).
I also work with small businesses, venues, artists, and musicians. Basically, if the work you do creates meaningful change in the lives of other people, we’re gonna get along just fine!

✯ There’s nothing more punk than community networks and mutual aid – We take care of us.
✯ Generative AI and data centers are actively killing our planet, rotting our brains and stealing from creatives.
✯ Queer and Trans* people have always existed and will always exist.
✯ Billionaires shouldn’t exist, and all human beings deserve to be fed, housed, cared for, and treated with dignity regardless of where they were born, or what language they speak.
✯ Palestine should be free, and all law enforcement upholds the systems of white supremacy who thrive on the oppression of women, people of color, and queer people.
